Given the media's representation of Arab politics, society, religion and culture, Adala's role is to give people the ability to better respond to the media and policy makers on fair coverage and balanced decision making. This organization works in conjunction with other groups and individuals to bring together and strengthen the collective skills and resources of the Arab-Canadian population.

Adala's goals are to:

* Heighten public awareness of Arab issues
* Integrate Arab views into mainstream political discourse
* Promote fairness in Canadian foreign policy towards the Arab world
* Work with the Canadian media towards a more balanced and informed portrayal of the Arab world
* Defend civil and human rights of Arab Canadians in Canada
